About me

My name is Trip, and I am a modern day nomad.
I gave up a life of materialism and careers, marriage and children, houses and cars, to devote my life to constant travel and exploration. I hitchhike to get around, I work on organic farms, and I strike up conversation with everyone I encounter. Motivated by such works as Jack Kerouac's "On the Road," and the life of such people as Christopher McCandless, better known as Alexander Supertramp, and the Sean Penn movie about him "Into the Wild," I too venture into the unknown in search of adventure.
Even when I am off the road, I still update my blog with my ideas and epiphanies, or even just my rants.
